THE MALL WINS THE CUP

In the most exciting game in the SHL this year Mall Security won the Spirit Cup. They had an action-packed 3-2 win over the Moonwalking Giraffes in the shootout. The Mall was ahead 1-0 for a long period after Preston scored. Then the Giraffes came back to take the lead on two goals by Lachlan. Thomas H. then tied the game in the last minute and began an endless shootout. After more than ten rounds of shooters, Preston scored to win the game for the Mall. Jeremy and Kevin were outstanding in goal all game long.

GIRAFFES GET GREAT GOALS

The Moonwalking Giraffes earned a spot in the final on Monday with a 6-1 win over the Siamese Uburoos. Lachlan and Bob each had a pair for the Giraffes, with Walker and Matt S. scoring singles. Mitchell had the goal for the Uburoos. Kevin and Zaha were the goalies.

GIRAFFES EARN THEIR SPOT

The Moonwalking Giraffes stepped up in the second shift to win 5-2 over the Fuzzy Turtles. Lachlan had a hat-trick for the Giraffes, with Bob and A.J. adding singles. Tony and Matt M. scored for the Turtles. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies. The Giraffes will now play the Siamese Uburoos in the semi-final tomorrow.

SIAMESE SHOOTOUT

The Siamese Uburoos edged out the Chubby Ferrets 4-3 in the shootout today. Mitchell and Alex each had a pair of goals for the Uburoos, with Alex scoring in the shootout. Riley had a hat-trick for the Ferrets. Kevin and Carson were the goalies. The Uburoos now advance to the semi-final on Friday.

THE PLAYOFFS MATCH-UPS ARE SET

The regular season is now finished. Mall Security finishes first overall and goes straight to the Championship game next Monday. Now the playoffs begin! Who will win the right to face the Mall next Monday? The Chubby Ferrets finish second and play the Siamese Uburoos tomorrow. The Moonwalking Giraffes finish third and play the Fuzzy Turtles on Thursday.

THE CHUBBY COMEBACK

The Chubby Ferrets made a furious comeback in the last couple of minutes to tie the Moonwalking Giraffes 2-2. Riley and Oon scored the goals for the Ferrets. AJ and Lachlan scored for the Giraffes. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies.

THE MALL GIVES THEIR ALL

Mall Security moved back into first place with a close 3-2 victory over the Fuzzy Turtles. Thomas H. had a pair for the Mall, while Cameron added one. Matt M. had both goals for the determined Turtles. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies.

PLAYOFF POSITIONS- Fourth and Fifth Place

The Fuzzy Turtles will finish fourth and play the third place team in the playoffs.

The Siamese Uburoos finish fifth and play the second place team in the playoffs.

TURTLES RULE THE POND

The Fuzzy Turtles won 4-1 over the Siamese Uburoos today. Tony had two goals for the Turtles, with Connor and Matt M. adding singles. Thomas P. scored for the Siamese Uburoos. Kevin and Jeremy were the goalies.

MALL SECURITY LOCKS UP TOP THREE FINISH

With only a few games left in the SHL none of the five positions have been decided. However with Mall Security winning 4-2 over the Fuzzy Turtles...we do know one thing. The top three teams will be Mall Security, the Chubby Ferrets and the Moonwalking Giraffes.

Preston scored a hat trick for the Mall today...with Carson adding a single. Rogan scored both of the Turtles goals. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies today.

FERRETS WIGGLE BACK INTO FIRST

The Chubby Ferrets moved back into first place with a 5-0 win over the Moonwalking Giraffes. Scoring for the Ferrets were; Oon with a pair, while Marvin, Kai and Riley all had singles. Kevin and Jeremy were the goalies.

GIRAFFES LIKE IT AT THE TOP

The Moonwalking Giraffes continued to try to secure first place with a 5-1 win over the Siamese Uburoos. Bob scored a pair of goals and Lachlan added a hat-trick for the Giraffes. Draco scored for the Uburoos. Kevin and Jeremy were the goalies.

FERRETS FIND A WAY

The Chubby Ferrets continued to trade places with the Giraffes by winning 7-4 over the Siamese Uburoos. Mitchell had all the goals for the Uburoos while Caden and Riley each had a pair for the Ferrets...with Oon and Cason added singles. Henoke and Kevin were the goalies.

TWO TEAMS TIE AT TWO

The Fuzzy Turtles and the Chubby Ferrets tied 2-2 today. Connor scored both goals for the Fuzzy Turtles. Riley and Cason scored the goals for the Ferrets. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies.

NEW RULE FOR SHOTS ONTO THE STAGE

Due to a large number of high shots going onto the stage during games...a new rule has been added to the SHL. Any shot going directly from the floor onto the stage will give the other team a penalty shot.

THE MALL STANDS TALL

Mall Security moved into first place after a close game with the Moonwalking Giraffes. The Mall built up a huge 4-0 lead before the Giraffes came back to make the final score 5-2. Cameron scored four goals for the Mall, while Thomas H. added a single. Carl and Lachlan added singles for the Giraffes. Kevin and Jeremy were the goalies.

THE FIRST TIE OF THE SEASON

The SHL had the first tie game of the season today. The Siamese Uburoos and the Moonwalking Giraffes tied 1-1. Ian scored for the Giraffes in the first half and then Jack tied it up for the Uburoos and got them their first point of the year. There are only shootout games in the playoffs. Jeremy and Kevin were the goalies.

FANTASTIC FINISH FOR FERRETS!

After a close first half the Chubby Ferrets exploded in the second to win 4-0 over the Siamese Uburoos. Riley had two goals for the Ferrets, with Cason and Marvin adding singles. Kevin and Jeremy were the goalies.

THE MALL CLOSES THE DEAL

After no goals in the first half, the two teams erupted for five in the second. Mall Security outpaced the Fuzzy Turtles 4-1. Carson and Thomas H. each scored a pair for the Mall, while Matt M. added a single for the Turtles. Jeremy and Kevin were in goal.

THE MOONWALKING GIRAFFES STEP INTO FIRST PLACE

The Moonwalking Giraffes edged out the Chubby Ferrets 3-2 in a very close game. The game was tied 2-2 until the final minute. Cason had both goals for the Ferrets, while AJ, Bob and Carl scored for the Giraffes. Henoke made the first start of his SHL career while Kevin manned the other goal.

MALL SECURES FIRST WIN

Mall Security evened their record as they outscored the Siamese Uburoos 5-1. Carson had two goals, with Rory, Preston and Cameron adding singles for the Mall. Thomas P. broke the shutout with a goal for the Uburoos. Kevin made his first start of his SHL career and joined Jeremy in the nets.

NEWEST TRADE

Kevin has been traded for Zaha. Zaha joins the Fuzzy Turtles and Kevin becomes one of the goalies. Apparently both players were happy with the trade.

GIRAFFES STICK THEIR NECKS OUT

The Moonwalking Giraffes and the Fuzzy Turtles were tied after the first shift in an action packed game. However, the Giraffes outscored the Turtles on the second shift to win 6-2. Lachlan scored four goals for the Giraffes, with Carl and Andy adding singles. Connor and Rogan replied for the Turtles. Zaha and Jeremy were the goalies.

FERRETS OPEN WITH A WIN

The SHL season opened today with the Chubby Ferrets edging out Mall Security 3-1. Riley, Oon and Caden scored for the Ferrets and Tony scored for Mall Security. After the game Tony was told he was traded to the Fuzzy Turtles. Zaha and Jeremy were the goalies. The next game is on Monday.

By a strange coincidence I noticed that Riley, Oon and Caden were the last three in the scoring race in last year's SHL.

First Game Rescheduled

The Jan 4th game between the Fuzzy Turtles and the Siamese Uburoos is rescheduled for Feb 18th. Which means they will play back-to-back games against eachother!
